We provided event management support to 47 colleagues from Markerstudy Group as they undertook a intensive 12-hour hike across the scenic Peak District, with participants choosing between a marathon (26 miles) or half-marathon (14 miles) route.
The event required over a year of meticulous planning and months of physical preparation, designed to test resilience, foster teamwork, and inspire charitable giving. Despite facing difficult terrain and unpredictable weather, the team surpassed expectations – exceeding their £30,000 fundraising target and raising an incredible £48,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This achievement fully funded the Macmillan Support Line for a week, providing essential assistance to over 2,000 individuals seeking information and support.
