Frequently asked questions

What types of corporate events do you organise in the East of England?
We deliver the full range of corporate events across the East of England — conferences and annual meetings, away days and leadership retreats, team building activities (indoor and outdoor), gala dinners and awards evenings, product launches, client entertainment, and CSR and charity events. We can manage everything from a focused half-day workshop for 20 people to a multi-day residential conference for several hundred delegates.
Is your venue finding service really free?
Yes — completely free to use. We are members of AIEA (the Alliance of Independent Event Agencies) and our venue finding service is funded through commissions paid by venues when a booking is confirmed. You receive expert shortlisting, negotiation, and support at no cost to your organisation.
Do you only work in Cambridge, or across the whole East of England?
We are based in Cambridge but we deliver events across the full East of England region — including Huntingdon, Peterborough, Norwich, Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, and the wider Cambridgeshire and Norfolk countryside. We also deliver events across the whole of the UK from the same team.
What team building activities are available in the East of England?
The East of England is excellent for both indoor and outdoor team building. Popular options include rowing regattas and Dragon Boat events on the River Cam and Great Ouse, treasure hunts through Cambridge and Norwich city centres, charity Bike Builds and Pack for Purpose indoor activities, Pace for Purpose charity walks, and corporate hospitality at Newmarket Racecourse. We design all programmes around your team's objectives, size, and fitness levels.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It depends on the type and scale of the event. For larger conferences or residential away days with specific venue requirements, 3–6 months in advance is ideal. For smaller team days and activities, we can often turn things around in 4–6 weeks. If you have a tight deadline, get in touch — we'll tell you honestly what's achievable and do everything we can to make it work.
Can you integrate CSR or charity giving into our East of England event?
Absolutely — and it's something we do regularly across the region. We work with vetted local charity partners across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk to deliver Charity Bike Builds, Pack for Purpose care-package activities, and Pace for Purpose charity walks with named beneficiaries. We provide full impact reporting so the outcomes feed directly into your ESG submission.
